As mentioned at the beginning of the year, boys will participate in a couple of discussion lessons on puberty and changes they will be starting to face in the near future. These lessons will happen next week with Mr Pyefinch. Boys will be encouraged to ask any questions they are unsure about and Mr Pyefinch will also address any misconceptions they have.
This would obviously be a great opportunity for you as parents at home to follow up with what boys have they have learnt or discussed in class and begin some open communication with them. Some questions may not be appropriate for a Year 6 classroom and therefore Mr Pyefinch may refer them to talk to you about them at home.
